Thanksgiving

Lille is looking pretty while maxin' on the table. She is such a crazy cat. She likes to jump through my legs to jump to the top of the toilet. It is a miracle she hasn't been drenched yet. Late at night she likes to jump up the wall and try and climb with her paws, even though she doesn't have claws anymore. Roast! She keeps everyone in the family entertained with her antics.
Here is Tal in his outfit from the GAP. He looks like he could be a model. He was a good sport all night long. He is becoming like his daddy, the night before this picture was taken he had to watch the Simpson's to fall asleep. It was both sad and funny at the same time.

The Beck's and the Terry's at the Arizona Temple on a freezing night (66 degrees). Talan and Maddy monopolized the strollers all night. To make our visitors welcome we took them to Utah away from Utah aka Cafe Rio. It felt like walking into a Cafe in Salt Lake City.

We will post again after the Utes beat the team Down South.

WE'VE BEEN TAGGED

I have been tagged by Jamie Welker.
The rules are when you are tagged:
A. Each player lists 6 facts, habits or favorite things about themselves.
B. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged. (So, watch out....you might be tagged next.)

1. Spencer is my favorite thing/person. Each day the one thing I look forward to is him coming home. He always makes everything more fun, when he is in a good mood ofcourse, which is almost always. After eight years of marriage he still makes me laugh and I still catch myself staring at him thinking how good looking he is.
2. My kids. They make each day fun and interesting. Madalyn has a laugh that she has had since she was a baby that is so contagious. She can make anyone laugh. She loves to take pictures, so she is always telling me different ways to pose and gets so particular about it. She won't take the picture until I am posing just right. Talan got a baseball and bat from his grandpa and grandma Beck for his birthday, and has been completely obsessed ever since. Luckily for us he is willing to play in the family room so we aren't stuck outside in the heat all day. He is definitely a mommies boy. Whenever Spencer and Maddy try to tickle me he gets very protective and lays on me so they can't reach me. It doesn' t really work, but he tries.
3. Cooking. I love trying new recipes. They don't always turn out very good, but I love to try.
4. Reading. I love it when I find a book that is so good I just can't put down. I usually don't ever get the chance to read that long, but I love the anticipation of getting a break to read it again.
5. I have 5 shows that I love and I can't miss each week. It is sad that I look forward to watching these as much as I do, but oh well. The Bachelor, The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Biggest Loser and The Hills.

Okay, now the 6 people I am going to tag are....
Kim Palmer
Sunny & Kelly Beck
Kari Schwitzer
Summer Wyatt
Dana Benning
Brooke Thompson
Sorry if any of you have already been tagged....do it again!

Madalyn and Talan were not really interested in taking pictures, they were promised a nice surprise if they made an effort to smile. They even found some time to play inbetween pictures (Madd's and Tal checking out the wanna be reflection pool at the county courthouse).

A small preview of the upcoming Christmas cards that you all stand to receive...if we have your address (yes, the kids will be in the real pics, but we couldn't give it all away). We tried to find some typical Arizona decor for our backdrop but, could only come up with this Agave plant. Please notice that I even ironed my T-shirt for the pics!

By the way, everyone is doing an excellent job voting. Thanks.

A visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Madalyn's preschool class went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch.

Luckily for Talan, little brothers were allowed to go too.

They had a petting zoo with tons of animals. Talan loved feeding the horses and chasing the chickens. He was so brave and went inside with the goats. He even tried to touch one.

Maddy liked to look at the animals and touch them over the fence. They had such a fun day.

Halloween 2007

Sandy is 15 wks. prego with numero tres! No, we do not know what we are having yet and we are asking the docs to keep that info to themselves. We will be happy with whatever we have. Have these people not heard of contraceptives? J/K for anyone reading this who have more than three kids...self deprecating humor has never killed anyone.

We are still waiting for Phoenix to realize that it is winter everywhere else and that it has no right being over 90 degrees in November.

Sandy has been increasing the output of both her vinyl letter making and candle making this fall. Spencer is experiencing senioridous, which is weird because he is not even a "senior." Spencer has two more semesters of classes and then a dissertation to complete before he gets a "job" and we can move back to SLC. He has been working doing neuropsychiatric assessments for DDS and CPS in Phoenix.

Talan was Curious George this year for Halloween. He was quite successful this year. He went trick-or-treating twice this year. He scored the most candy for his Daddy at the trunk-or-treat. He braved the Phoenix heat one more time to hook up suckers of all kinds. Talan really isn't into chocholate like most other kids. He would rather pick out suckers and play with animals than take the best of the best Halloween candy...Reeces Peanut Butter Cups!

Maddy was Stephanie from "Lazy Town." We had an ordeal with Maddy's hair as it would not fit under her wig. We spray painted it to "match" without much success. She fell asleep before we could wash her hair out. Maddy tends to sweat and roll around in the night, she ended up with pink all over her arms and face the next morning. Lucky for her she also had to perform in the Primary Program when she woke up. She was the talk of the ward during and after the program. She kept the crowd entertained with her "silly" faces and pink skin.

Peace out! Maybe Sandy will update this thing more regularly, my bet is that you don't see another posting until the third one is born.
