Ryan is 5!!!

Ryan got to enjoy our friend Madison's birthday and Spencers a week before his.  It was a fun celebration week!  Summer made a sweet carnival game that all the kiddos loved!

Cotton candy & orange fanta

Random pic.  Ryan wanted to clean his feet in the sink.
He just happened to be wearing his Navy hat from Corey.  Such a cutie pie.

Maddy was bummed that she had to miss Ryan's party, but she loved going to Skyler's garden party!  These ladies looked lovely.

Ryan thankfully chose a water slide party!  His friends were so excited and were on that thing from 10am to 5pm.  We had to make them stop for Ryan to blow out the candles, but that was about it.

Axel was an animal on that thing.

Ryan and one of his favorite friends from pre-school, Beau with the belt.

And his favorite birthday surprise, Julie and Corey came to stay for the weekend with Hans and Tara.  We missed those guys so much!

Wow, it's been awhile!

Here is a quick update of the past five months.

Maddy with Jessica and Lacey on her 4th grade field trip.
The twins were standing on that rock howling like wolves.  Entertaining.

Ryan & I made jello worms and scared the kids.  Talan fell for it.  It was pretty hilarious.
Madds took them to class the next day to scare her teacher.

I had a date with my handsome Tally.  We went to Yogurtini.
I love date nights with my kiddos! Smiley face!

I started my garden from seeds in January and then planted them outside the beginning of March.
They are doing alright, but could be better.  I need to take a gardening class.

The Nardini's came to visit us!  Such amazing friends! We had to take them to Makutu's Island.
They LOVED it, just like we knew they would.

We went to a comedy club one night.
We were lucky enough to see Steve Rannazzisi from 'The League'.
He was amazing.

We couldn't pass up the chance to meet him and get a pic after.

Westgate.  Pretty much our favorite place in Phoenix.  Friday and Saturday nights are the best.  There is live music, the kids run around in the splash pad and they have some of our favorite restaurants.  Parents can relax while the kiddos go crazy.  Everyone is happy.

We decided to get rid of Spencer's beloved Tacoma and get more of a family car.  The Tacoma would've been perfect had we stayed in Utah, but just wasn't working for Phoenix. :(
We went with the pilot.  Not our dream car, but it works for now!

Kindergarten orientation. Class of 2026, WHAT?!?!
I just cried again.  It's hard seeing them grow up so fast.  He is super excited, and I am super excited for him.  I'll be wearing my sunglasses for the first couple weeks of school so he doesn't see the tears.  Sniff sniff.

Lille got all that matted hair off so she could get cool for the AZ summer.  She looks upset here, but she really was happy.  She has sensitive eyes like me.  Can't look at the flash.

Sideways pic.  Spring break fun at 'Pump it Up'!

One of my favorite events of the year thus far.  IMAGINE DRAGONS CONCERT!!  Yes, it was so amazing that I just wrote in all caps.  I would see them every year if I could.  Thanks Kisten for the free tix and front row seats (Even if my body was bruised the next day).

You can tell I'm trying to keep the people behind me back!  It was craZy!

I got to see most of my favorite SLC friends.  Wish I could live back to good ol' Herriman.
Never thought I would miss that place as much as I do!

LDS Easter Pageant.  It was amazing.  Too bad the kiddos were all asleep within the first 15 minutes.

Maddy and Binks, her science project.  She has a hard time breathing with Binks in the house but she won't let her go.  Grosses me out, but I'll be supportive.

Maddy and her 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Voigt.  She is now a member of the National Elementary Honor Society.  You have to be invited to apply but then you also have to be accepted if you decide to apply.  It's a lot of hard work, and I love that she is excited to do it.
