I must confess...

  Our neighbors rent out these big bouncy castles. Our back yards are too small for them so everyone puts them in their driveway.  I wouldn't ever let my kids get one because, yes, I do like to make fun of those people who have parties in their driveway. Sorry, but it's weird.

So... over the Thanksgiving weekend we wanted to do something really fun for the kids... I broke down... and we rented a bouncy.  I do think the adults who tried it out had just as much fun as the kids.  

So on to my confession... 

I want to do it again.

Amazing Weekend...

with amazing friends!  The Downey's came down to visit again.  It was so much fun.  The Wyatt's suggested a new restaurant, Rustler's Rooste.   The food wasn't amazing but it was really fun.  A magician came to our table and was actually really good.  

There was a slide that went from the lobby down to the restaurant.  We all tried it, but Spence enjoyed it the most, he couldn't get enough of it. It went surprisingly fast.   You can't see the slide in this picture, but this is Spence at the end of the it.

We did way to much eating and shopping.

And then Kisten and I had to take our traditional lame pictures everywhere we went.  Thanks for coming down guys, you're the best!  (Now the rest of you need to come visit :)

The evening started off quite stressful attempting to find a gas station near Sandy's sister's house, quite difficult. We eventually found one and got our caffeine kick and we were ready for the "Holy War." The Utes started off with a nice drive capped by a field goal by King Louie. The Y's "special" teams came up with the best play of the night on their first possession, scoring some sweet field position, leading to their first points. That was the end of their night though, Max Hall, a.k.a. the Utes' MVP threw 5 interceptions and lost 1 fumble. As you can tell from the pics above our family was happy with the sweet taste of victory and the prospect of a trip to Miami or New Orleans in the cards for our second perfect season in 4 years. The BYU fans in attendance...they were a little upset with Spencer's gloating, obviously he didn't care, he was prepared with his winning attitude and fun loving personality. We'll see all of you Ute fans at our BCS bowl and here's wishing BYU another illustrious Vegas Bowl. Go Utes!!!

I started a new tradition...

Oh, it was so funny watching everyone try it.  Spence did it in 2.8 seconds.  He was the winner.

I think I did it in 8 seconds.  Not too shabby.

And then I think we stopped timing cause Kim took forever!!  Just kidding Kim!

Drew tried to drown Kurt with her finger.  It didn't work.  

Jake would come up for air and spit water all over Maddy.

Madds was a rockstar!  She got lots of apples.

Nashy figured out if you hold the apple on the side of the bucket it's easier to grab.

Drewbie got a couple apples too...she was such a trooper!

 Talan wasn't down this year.  He just wanted to work on his Spiderman Skills!  No big deal Tal... you will have plenty of chances for years to come!!

Welcome to the 80's...

I think I am the last one to post these pictures.. sorry I've been slacking!   Phil and Summer out did themselves again!  They had an 80's Murder Mystery Halloween Party. We all had specific characters.  I was suppose to be Jane Fonda, Spence was a reverend (he was the one murdered), Kim was Madonna, and I think Kurt was Billy Idol.  You'll have to go look at Summer's blog if you'd like to know the rest.  We all had so much fun.  I captured some pictures at dinner of random people, non of which are couples.  Thanks again Phil and Summer, you guys throw amazing parties... (keep them coming :) !!

ATS Family Fun Night

We went to Maddy's school for Family FUN Night, and boy was it fun. We did the cake walk so many times.  Even Ryan joined in on that one.  Talan was enjoying his nose during the walk, no big deal.  Spencer said we weren't going to stop until we won.  And we won after 3 times.  We could have bought  3 cakes at the store for the amount of tickets we used on that one.  





Talan was holding so still while the boy painted his face.  He picked a skull and crossbones.  

Then they went on the bouncy slide for about 30 minutes.  We got there right when it started so not many people had made it to the slides yet.  I think I should invest in one of those... hours of entertainment!

Here is my cute little Talan almost 2 years ago!  This was the day of Sunny and Kelly's wedding reception. Maddy and I were getting our hair done and so Spence, Virg and Talan went bowling.
