Pics of our house.

So, Kim has been wanting to see pics of our house for awhile now, so this is mostly for her... sorry it took so long!

We haven't done a whole lot of decorating. Spence just kinda threw things places.

The kids rooms are pretty bare too. Just looking at these pics have now motivated me to go put up their pictures.

1st Grader!

Maddy started 1st grade twice this year. This first picture is what we thought would be her first 1st day, but we were wrong. When she got to school the teacher did not have enough chairs for the students, they may or may not have tried to take a nap (Maddy said they laid down for 15 minutes for PE?), and then when we went to pick her up, she was no where to be found! She was lost for about 5 of the longest minutes of our lives. The teacher claimed she led her through the doors where all the kids were let out...this is bogus as Spencer was standing there the whole time. Nevertheless, Maddy did not return to this first school.

First Day of School.... part deux

So we switched schools! The last one was (I'll be nice) ... not so good. I won't get into all the details, but there were sooo many things that we hated that it is worth the 12 minute drive to her new school. Look... she is so much happier already! She didn't cry when I left her, which was amazing! I can't even tell you how much happier I am.

The week before we moved to Pueblo we went to southern California for Summer's baptism.

S'more Goodness!

We had Paris and Boston sleep over so we decided to whip out our S'more maker. It's so perfect for kids cause they can actually roast a marshmallow without burning it. Well... Tal did burn a couple but he got the hang of it. We love our S'more maker (compliments of the Taylor family)!

Can't get enough of Vegas!

Well... on Saturday we were talking to our friends (The Wyatt family) about what to do for Memorial Day and we decided to go to Vegas. We got rooms at Mandalay Bay and drove up Sunday morning. The kids had so much fun. We found a sweet deal at the Luxor buffet, all you can eat all day for $35 per adult and $2o per kid, but Tal and Ry were free! We were pretty excited about that since it was next door to our hotel. The kiddos have never been to M&M world so we took them there... they were in heaven!

The Downey fam came and spent the day with us at the pool... we had some good bonding moments. I really enjoyed the lazy river!

Ry was all tuckered out from being in the sun all day!

Then Summer almost went into labor walking to the Shark Reef, so our friend hooked her up with a scoot scoot for FREE!! (which was normally $45 a day!)

We didn't know the Treasure Island show was only at night. I haven't seen that show in years, so I was a little bummed. But it was a great trip!
