Catch-up...

I just noticed it's been 3 months since my last post. So here is a little catch-up of lots of random moments.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
Pictures don't do this place justice. It's so fun to just go walk around this place. We love it.

Hanging out with the deer.
I think my kids would be content with feeding the Giraffe's the whole time. I don't dare feed them... their tongue's freak me out a little bit.

This moment was classic. And my blog is private so I think it's okay for me to post this... right???
Ryan fell asleep right before he was suppose to get his haircut.
Talan and I went on a date. He was in heaven at Ihop and I love that kids eat free. Everyone is happy!

Ryan fell into the door at McDonald's and this was the outcome. It was even worse than it looks in this picture. I knew I didn't like that place.
This is Spencer's newest invention/contraption. So here is the story behind this one.... He has to fall asleep at night watching TV. I don't like to, so I told him he has had the last 10 years of falling asleep to the TV so for the next 10 years we get to have it off. The next day he rigged up this little beauty. He can stream netflix though his iPhone so he can fall asleep to family guy. Again... everyone is happy.
I got Spence a scooter for graduation. He has wanted one as long as I've known him. And he rides it EVERYWHERE. I'm not kidding.
I was walking down the hall at Maddy's school and I saw this picture she made. I love what she wrote next to it. She is such a sweet big sister.
Again, Ryan falling asleep in totally random uncomfortable positions. He was asleep like this for about 10 minutes before we realized it and then moved him.
We took the kids to the Rockies game. They actually did really well, now that we had seats! We didn't get seats at the last soccer game we went to and they weren't happy about that. Now when we go to games they always ask if they get a seat this time. It's kind of funny.

Denver

We love going up to Denver to check out new parts of the city. This time we went to the Butterfly museum. It was pretty sweet. Butterfly's were everywhere flying all around us. The kids loved it.

Then they both got to hold Rosie the Tarantula. I was glad Spence was willing to help the kids out, cause I wasn't getting near it.

You can't enjoy the rocky mountains without some Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
We drove up to the Alpine Tundra. It was SO cold, and we weren't wearing very warm clothes. But it was so pretty up there.
Lots of Elk

Estes Park.... I'm in love with this place.

Randoms....

I ran into our house with the Tahoe. It was a sad day. Good thing I have a brother who does auto body!!

Poor little Ryan loves soda... A LOT.
Little Monkey
Ryan and Halle. The cutest little trouble makers.
Such a cheese ball. I love it!

Pueblo Zoo and Tal's last day of school partae at the kiddie rides.

This bear at the zoo was hilarious. It looks like a statue... but it's not. It just stayed in this position panting. Maybe it was surrendering to the other bear... it really liked the sun... I don't know. But it was very entertaining.
Ryan and his most favorite person in the world... Jennie. He is obsessed with her. And we love that she doesn't mind. She's like our own personal babysitter.

Talan and one of his favorite friends at pre-school, Brandt. On their last day of school.
This is THE scariest ride at the kiddies rides. They have a hose next to it cause so many people throw up when they get off. I thought I was going to pass out the first time I went on it, so I don't go on it anymore. Anyway... Talan wanted to go so bad so he did it and LOVED it... then did it again. I was so proud.
He went with his teacher, Ms. Julie. I think she was kinda scared.
Oh... I thought I would just throw this pic in. The weather here is crazy! See how it is totally sunny and it's hailing!! And this hail is small. It gets up to the size of golf balls some times. And then a couple minutes later it's over and looks like nothing even happened. Insane!

The Nature Center

Talan's pre-school teacher and her husband took us down to the Nature Center. It is so pretty there. And it's only 5 minutes from our house. How we didn't find this place sooner... I do not know. We had a BBQ, the kids played on the play ground then we played by the river.

Ryan just walks up slides... no big deal.
The squirrels were hanging out with us.
Corey was nice and packed Maddy across the river so she wouldn't get wet.

When is gets warm we are going to go tubing down this thing. I'm excited.

Maddy Paddy turns 7!!

Our day started at 6:25 when Talan came running into our room saying "we need to make Maddy breakfast in bed"! We had already planned on doing it, we just didn't think we needed to start until 7:00 since she usually doesn't wake up until 8:00. But not today. Maddy was laying in bed waiting for her birthday to start!! She requested her Dad's specialty, Norwegian pancakes. We took a different route today and filled them with blueberries and whip cream! YUM!

Maddy waited by the door about 20 minutes before anybody was suppose to arrive! What a little beauty!
Okay... so I was really happy with my idea of putting the Littlest Pet Shop toys on top of each cupcake for the kids. They turned out so cute! It was hard giving some of them away. They were all SO CUTE!

Maddy had a list of games she wanted to play. Unfortunately we didn't get to them all. This one was the balloon pop.
Here is cute little Alexis with the cupcake she won from the cake walk.
Jordan
Bailey
Kaitlyn
I love how excited Maddy is for Jordan to hit the pinata!

Singing Happy Birthday
Poor little Ry Buddy was so tuckered out!
Her new pajamas that she got from her Dad!
Then we ended up with a sleep over in the family room. It's our little cuties favorite thing to do! (Yes, I have a frog tattoo on my arm.)
I anticipated a sad Maddy when she had to give away all the Littlest Pet Shop toys, so after her friends left I gave her a big pack of them. I love these things! Look at the St.Bernard second row from the back third from the left... and the little orange frog... and the chipmunk with the pink hat... so cute!
And the walrus... Okay I'll stop.

Oh wait... the 10 things we LOVE about Maddy...
1. She is such a clean girl. She will clean the whole room when she and Talan are suppose to do it together.
2. Her laugh is still so contagious!
3. She loves to give her mommy back and foot tickles.
4. She is always in her underwear, unless we have a guest.
5. She loves to read. She has been keeping a copy of Ivy & Bean underneath her seat in the car, and every time we go anywhere she pulls it out to read.
6. She loves to do her homework, and gets it done super fast. Such a smarty!
7. She loves to be silly.
8. She loves to cook.
9. She loves to do any kind of project, especially science projects.
10. And she is so good about putting off having something good to get something better later.
(That is worded weird, but it's one of Spencer's favorites!)
WE LOVE OUR MADDY PADDY!!
