Tagged....

Okay... I have been tagged by two people so here it is.  My 4th folder... 4th picture.  

Here is my cute little Talan almost 2 years ago!  This was the day of Sunny and Kelly's wedding reception. Maddy and I were getting our hair done and so Spence, Virg and Talan went bowling.  

Okay so now I am tagging...  Kim, Kisten, Summer & Kaci.  And any one else who wants to post theirs! :)

How time flies!

Ryan is 6 months old today!  Here are some of my favorites from the past 6 months!  He is such a cutie!!!

Our LAS VEGAS trip!

My AMAZING friend hooked us up with a suite at the Mandalay Bay.  It was so much fun!  All the boys were in heaven.  There were 4 flat screen T.V.'s.  They would watch the T.V. in the living area and the T.V. in the kitchen at the same time. Not to mention while they would take a  bath, brush their teeth, etc.  Good thing there were a lot of games on.  

They also had an amazing pool, but of course we go to Vegas on the one weekend that the temp drops 20 degrees so it was too cold to go in the pool.  

Spencer's new favorite band, Santogold, happened to be playing at the House of Blues which is located in Mandalay Bay.  We weren't allowed to take our camera in, but Spencer was feeling CraZy and snapped some with his phone! My cousins were so nice and offered to watch our kids so we could go to the concert!  It was amazing!

Our Utah Vacation

I know it's not anywhere exotic... but we do enjoy our Utah getaways!  We didn't get to leave until 8:00 p.m. because we thought we lost Lille (our cat).  Little did we know she has some super secret hideout somewhere in our house.  We searched for her for two hours and then found her walking down the stairs yawning.  We were so relieved!  

Anyway,  Ryan was a champ and slept the entire way, Maddy fell asleep within the first 30 min. and Talan was just happy that he got to watch movies!  (I only let them watch movies on long trips... so they think it's a treat!)  

The kids were loving Uncle Clinty and rides on the Vino!  We just might have to invest in one of those one of these days.

Ryan's a Trooper

Maddy's soccer game was at 8:00 a.m. this morning instead of the 10:00 and 11:00 games that we've been having.  We were pretty happy to sit and  enjoy the 75 degree weather instead of the constant barrage of heat. During the middle of the game the sprinklers suddenly came on.  I looked over and poor little Ryan was getting nailed by one of them.  It was spraying directly on his face.  I am sure he was too shocked to even cry, but even after I moved him he didn't get mad.  I think he kind of enjoyed it.  This picture is so classic, I had to post it!

Maddy is turning into quite the little soccer player.  She scored another goal today!  Maddy's team officially changed their name from the "Soaring Eagles" to "The Green Butterfly Princesses." Per usual, Tal was there to cheer on his sister and all of her friends as they demolish the competition. Sure at this age it is supposed to be about having fun, but winning is fun...right? 

What a good weekend!

Thanks to my cousins Jono and Anneli, we got to meet Brooke White!  It was so fun.  She had a benefit concert in mesa and we got to go backstage to meet her.  She was super nice, but she was really tired so we just got to take our picture then we had to go.   

On our way out her husband was standing by the door, so I snuck in a picture with him!  He is quite the cutie, I couldn't pass it up!  (Don't worry Babe... I only have a crush on you!!!)That morning we went to Maddy's Soccerfest.  The kids played in bouncy castles and played in the splash pad.  Talan and Kahlia were really enjoying the food!

Thanks for coming to visit us Nielsen family!  We had such a fun weekend!

Look who's 3!!!!

Our little Talan turned 3 yesterday! It was such a fun day.  He woke up at 6:30 am with Spencer and Maddy to go watch our friend Mike do a triathlon.  He was such a trooper sitting outside in the heat.  He just played with his little spiderman guy the whole time.  Then those 3 were so tuckered out that they ditched church and stayed home and watched movies.  That night he had some of his most favorite people over for his birthday party!

He scored some pretty sweet presents!  Thanks guys!

Spence and I joined in on the fun.  He was Mikey and I was Leo (I think).

We let Talan pick his own bike.  Do you think he likes Spiderman?  Check out all that gear.  I think he's ready to go!  

It was also Mike's birthday...  so even after his triathlon he and the fam came over for some birthday festivities.  Happy Birthday Mike!
